Devil Hunter Generation 108
Yohko is a lively 16 year old girl who is more concerned about getting
a boyfriend than fighting any demons or such. Unfortunately for Yohko,
things don't quite work out that way. For many generations the women
of the Mano family have protected the earth from many devils who seek
to enter this world, and it just so happens that Yohko is next in line!
While having a destiny of fighting the minions of the underworld would
be pretty stressful for most people, Yohko continues to try to go about
her daily life. Yohko has a tendency to oversleep, goes crazy over
any guy who is "slightly better than average looking", and is 158cm tall.

The Apprentice
Azusa is from a remote village in the mountains
where there are quite a few relatives of the Mano
family. Azusa is sent to the Mano household in
order to be trained in the ways of devil hunting.
She acts mainly as Yohko's sidekick, and while
not as adept at fighting as Yohko, she does put
a lot of effort into helping. To Yohko's relief,
Azusa gets stuck doing a lot of the menial chores
(but not all) that she had to do. Azusa is very
kind hearted and looks up to Yohko (145 cm tall).

Devil Hunter Generation 107
Like many older people, Madoka is very entrenched in the traditions
of her family. While Madoka is rather harsh on her granddaughter
Yohko sometimes, she does after all, have her best interests at
heart. Madoka has a very "strong" personality and still has a lot of
vitality despite being older (and rarely acts her age unless it gets her
out of chores). She also is very displeased with her daughter Sayoko
who she considers to be an airhead and a floozy, to put it nicely,
and the two are constantly fighting. Madoka is still very adept at devil
hunting (although not as good as she used to be), and is very
knowledgable about the family history and many supernatural
happenings: knowledge which she hopes to pass on to Yohko.

The Worlds Greatest Devil Hunter Manager
Although most people wouldn't know what to think about
Yohko's unusual "job", Chi decices to self appoint
herself as Yohko's PR agent / manager. Although they
are best friends, Chi still thinks Yohko is a tad bit
"out there" when it comes to guys. Chi also seems to
have an extensive information gathering network, and
tends to know about most of the happenings around the
school. Which usually comes in handy on giving Yohko
information on her latest crush.

The Devil Hunter That never Was
Sayoko is Yohko's mother, and was supposed to become
the next devil hunter, but got pregnant with Yohko first (you
have to be a virgin before you can become a devil hunter).
Madoka is very unhappy with her daughter, and tends to
argue with Sayoko all the time, and often eludes to her
being a moron (among other things), which isn't helped
out by the fact that Sayoko is indeed rather dense at
times, and tends to "get around". Sayoko for the most
part is not involved with the Mano family traditions,
and has pretty much nothing to do with Devil Hunting.
And so devil hunting fell to the next generation...
