In the future there are many perils that can face the city. Luckily the local police are armed with mecha suits to help battle crime. But what happens when the police are seriously outgunned and totally out of their league? Well the police get the crap beaten out of them of course. But in addition to that, Sailor Victory appears in their giant mecha suits of extreme power. They will defend the city to the last, and hopefully won't make total fools of themselves in the meantime...

This is a title I had no intention seeing. I had actually rented an episode of Trigun but got this instead. So I think to myself, OK I'll watch this then go back and get the episode of Trigun I was supposed to get. Well the good part is that I essentially didn't pay to watch this title. That's a good thing because it's a total waste of time.

This is strait up and down a good example of a possibly good anime concept that just went wrong in just about every way. From the very beginning you could see what they were trying to get at. Like some super robot comes out to fight crime in some crisis scenario, but it's actually piloted by these girls in school outfits. There should be at least some comedy material that writes itself with the sheer silliness of the idea.

Unfortunately it fell flat on its face from the beginning. It tried to be cute. It tried to be funny. It just couldn't pull it off. The comedy was just flat and as is typically the case when comedy isn't working, you end up with just a bunch of long drawn out stupidity. And why do these girls go from normal clothing, to dressing up in school outfits in order to pilot giant mecha? And why do the mecha look and attack like ninja? There just isn't much of an explanation for anything, nor does the title sweep us up in enough fun to make us ignore all of these facets that have no rhyme or reason as they aren't particularly amusing.

So overall, this title came off as EXTREMELY drab. As in a total snooze fest that is truly a waste of your time. Harsh words but appropriate for this title.
