Summary: >
When Alice went to wonderland, she was introduced to an unusually array of characters in a totally strange, and alien world. When Miyuki went to wonderland, she also saw a strange world and met an unusual array of characters. Alice however, was not quite as cute as Miyuki, and the everyone decides it might be fun to get fresh with cute little Miyuki.

Sometimes I really wonder about CLAMP - this group of women who have great art talents in the shoujo line who seem to make these semi perverse manga titles for hormonally charged males. Actually in that respect they might be geniuses. This title I've actually heard that CLAMP did to make extra money. And yeah, the manga is pretty much just like the anime.
Now clocking in at half an hour you'd think a show like this would be a speed bump in anime history, but it's got this mysteriously large following. I can't say I count myself among those, but I'd certainly watch it again. Why? Well why do guys like lesbians? If you can answer that, you can see why guys will take to this anime. And lesbians don't even need to be interested in the guy. We're happy just watching. Same with Miyuki-chan in Wonderland. Why do girls like this anime? I have no idea, but I can only pray that it's to inspire them.
So it's a tough call on what to recommend. There's no depth here, nor is there meant to be. It's just a light hearted take on Alice in Wonderland with mildly sexual undertones. The fact that it's a niche classic title I guess says a bit about it's strange appeal. And that's what Miyuki-chan in Wonderland is: a strange curiosity which is oddly appealing. Only recommended to people who consider themselves very much into anime, looking for a semi bizarre title.
