Imagine there was a world where all the people where goddesses. No, this isn't you're favorite lesbian fantasy, it's actually the basis of this anime. This place is not surprisingly called "paradise". Paradise is protected from the evils of the world by the Astrostar. It is the job of the Mother Goddess to protect this critical aspect of Paradise. But for all the good, there is also evil. And in fact there are evil goddesses as well. And no, this is not your OTHER more kinky lesbian fantasy. During a ritual of the Mother Goddess the evil goddesses make their move and put this all in peril. It is now up to young goddess candidate Lilith to gather the champions of Paradise to repel the impeding doom.

I actually can't find it in my heart to recommend megami Paradise to anyone. It's just a little too lacking in substance. I mean don't get me wrong about an anime that has all of these cute anime girls running around everywhere, but sooner or later you ask yourself: "What's the point." And that my friends is the question. The answer is that this is an anime about girls running around... and that's about it. The story was a cute little tale, but in the end even that was sort of questionable regarding how it could hold it all together. Animation wise it wasn't high caliber either.

And you know, even though the evil goddesses are... evil, they didn't really come across that way. It's sort of hard to follow their motivations when they just want to destroy paradise because they're evil and that's what they do. Okay, now I'm thinking too hard because there's no way this title even generates this much thinking.

It's not a bad anime per say, it's just... there. And as such I suggest that you just leave it "there" because there's just so many better titles that are waiting for you to watch. It is however very cute...
