Also known as: Legend of Himiko
Summary: >
Himiko is a girl without a past. All that truly remains of it is the pendant around her neck. But one day the pendant becomes activated and she is sent to another dimension where she was born. Unfortunately the entire realm is in chaos and will soon be overrun by the undead. That's not exactly the sort of place a schoolgirl like Himiko wanted to be. But her and her adoptive brother are going to have to help save the people of this world if they plan on going home. So how are to people supposed to fight an army of undead? Well there are the goddess candidates who could help out. And there is a mysterious power within Himiko that has yet to be tapped.

Hmm... my initial impression even before seeing this anime is that it would involve endless amounts of fan service with female anime characters. Well it certainly didn't prove me wrong there, but it doesn't do it blatantly so that was actually sort of a surprise. Unfortunately there just wasn't much to save this series. It goes from beginning to end in a linear fashion without much deviation from a strait line. I guess a part of it is that I never got very attached to any of the characters. The main two just aren't that interesting. Nor is the action or the story for that matter. I watched it all the way through because I felt compelled to do so, but I certainly never felt anything after I had witnessed the final scene. The bottom line is that it's rather dull for an action oriented flick.
An interesting side note is that this series is actually based off of a manga, but the two have almost nothing in common. Although I adore "Oh Great" artwork, I didn't think the manga was all that great either.

Iga: Look at that woman's chest.
Imari: It's so big!
Iga: Not that. I meant the pendant around her neck.
