Princess RougeAlso known as: Legend of the Last Labyrinth Summary: > One day while late for class, Yusuke ends up in a strange situation. While not a ladies man, he has one fall in his lap from the sky. Rouge has amnesia, so Yusuke decides to take her in as she has no where else to go. Time passes and the two have formed a happy life together. That's when two women show up who claim to be her sisters from a magical alternate universe. Aside from them, others want to take Rouge as well. Things look bad for the couple. Will they be able to stay together? Thoughts: > Ever seen Oh! My Goddess? If you haven't, go watch that. The OVA is quite good. If you have seen Oh! My Goddess, then you can also skip this anime because it's the SAME THING. And no I'm not exaggerating here, it's nearly a facsimile of the series. The characters aren't that bad, just unoriginal. Yusuke is the generic male protagonist. Rouge is the feminine ideal with amnesia who turns out to be magical girlfriend material. The obnoxious sisters are well... lively. Filling in the rest of the characters are the generic villainous villains. If you can put this together in your head from anime stereotypes, you've basically summarised this anime. Whatever is in your head is likely to be better for that matter. It's like it was assembled from standard formulas. The plot too as far as that goes. For something that doesn't seem very well thought out (from an originality standpoint anyway), the production value isn't all that bad. The animation is decent, and the character designs are pretty good. After two episodes this title was dropped entirely, and it doesn't look like it will ever be completed. So even if it looks like it might have enough charm to check into, it doesn't go anywhere. With a lot stacked against it, this one is better to avoid. Screen Caps: >
