Moldiver

Summary: >

Hiroshi is a scientific genius who's invented a suit making him nearly invincible for a short period of time by manipulating the laws of physics. He decides to style the suit in superhero fashion appropriate for fighting crime. Hiroshi's sister discovers the suit and refashions it to a girlie form more to her liking. Appalled by the changes, Hiroshi hands the superhero duties to her, rather than embarrassing himself wearing the remodeled suit.

A new superhero named Moldiver is born. The world might need a hero to help rescue it's classic antiques... uh, yeah.

Thoughts: >

Unfair warning: I couldn't watch past the first episode - there are 6 total. As far as the superhero genre in anime - there aren't many. However I watch anime because it's NOT superhero stuff so this title didn't jive with me. Actually that's the major detractor I can't get past. Moldiver doesn't deliver anything making it stand out. The story is.. lacking. The animation is merely okay. The comedy is okay. It's well rounded mediocrity in every direction.

It's a perfectly forgettable anime. And.. what was I talking about? Oh yeah, Moldiver. No, it really is that forgettable. It's not a soul sucking waste of time, but I'd say isn't worth the effort to dig up.
