I've been debating over wether I should do a page on Mahou Tsukai Tai, since there are already a few good pages on it. Eventually however, I decided to do one anyhow. This is after all one of my favorite anime titles. I also like Ruroni Kenshin, but there are already way to many pages on that. But for this title, I think I might be able to contribute by making a page about Mahou Tsukai Tai.

Mahou Tsukai Tai can be translated in many fashions, but generally it comes down to two interpretations. "I want to be a Magician", and the one I like "I want to use Magic". Mahou Tsukai Tai is probably the most charming anime I have ever seen. Most people think Oh! My Goddess holds that title. Well manga wise yes, but overall, the Oh! My Goddess anime was toned down so much that it almost lacks vitality.

Mahou Tsukai Tai may look really 'cutesy' (and believe me, I stay away from cutesy anime), but there's a lot more than that. It's generally good natured, and upbeat - so I suppose if that is your definition of cute, it may be so. The reason I adore Mahou Tsukai Tai, is its humor. Simply put, this is one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. Cool story, cool animation, interesting characters, and absolutely hilarious - no wonder it's one of my favorite anime.
