Kakyuusei eventually also made the move from OAV to TV series. The TV series (sometimes referred to as the "Elf Version" spans 14 episodes (13 + 1 really). While the OAV focused mainly on Mizuho and Miko, the TV series basically focused on the other girls. Mizuho plays a minor role, and Miko doesn't get involved much either. The main character is also different, although for the most part Tsuyoshi Yamaguchi is the same character in the TV series, as Tohru is in the OAV. The TV series is more true to the game and spans all 4 seasons. The series moves along as one long story, and sort moves from one featured girl to the next. As a TV series, there is no frontal nudity, although there is enough fan service to make up for that ^_~. All in all, I'd have to say I like the TV series as well if not a little better than the OAV. Certainly there is a lot more room for extended drama and story development in the TV series.
