So why exactly would I make a page about Kakyuusei? Admittedly I've always adored the game CG artwork, which I still think of as some of the best character designs out there. I've also continually seen magazine adds about the TV series which sort of kept the series in the back of my mind. Eventually I managed to obtain a copy of the OAV series, and I actually thought the series wasn't all that bad. The OAV is already dated 95, and four years seems to be the threshold of a commercial company releasing a title. No commercial companies have shown any interest in the series; maybe because it's considered "adult", yet there obviously isn't anywhere near enough adult content for this to be picked up by companies that release hentai. Basically there is no way that this title is going to be commercially released.

So I thought I would make a page on it since no one else has (probably because no one has seen or heard of it). My site is dedicated towards uncommon anime series, and Kakyuusei is about as unknown as you can get. My eventual hope is that I can snowball enough interest for someone to fan sub the Kakyuusei TV series (or maybe the OAV for that matter). It seems like no one ever fan-subs the stuff that I want to see. Perhaps it isn't the most fantastic series, but then again Marriage was actually commercially released, and as mediocre as that anime was, perhaps there is still hope.
