The game having done very well on both PC and Sega Saturn sparked an interest in making Kakyuusei into an anime (such is the trend now days). With thirteen girls, and only a four half hour episode OAV set, there was quite a dilemma in how much you could pack into one series. The OAV series mainly focuses on Tohru Nanase who is the main male character. Tohru gets stuck in a love... square involving Mizuho, Miko, and Ai. Elf already had terrific character designs, and fortunately Pink Pineapple did a very good job with the animation. Much like the Kakyuusei game, the main focus is on the relationships between the guy and the girls. Only the last part of the last episode has any sex whatsoever (and only for about a minute at that). In fact there are two different versions of the ending. One version of episode 4 has no actual sex scenes (but a few additional things input for the time difference), and the other has a short romantic sex scene.
