Miko is a classmate who is carrying on the Kamiyama family tradition, and lives at a shrine. She is generally friendly, and has a positive outlook on things. On the down side, Miko is very accident prone, and EXTREMELY dense. Miko is good friends with Mizuho in all incarnations of Kakyuusei, and like her friend tends to end up more of a background character in the TV series, although she does seem to actually serve more in terms of plot advancement. In the OAV Mizuho and Miko both take a liking to Tohru, which makes for some added drama considering their friendship. While Mizuho tends to agonize over the situation, Miko seemed almost oblivious to it - although perhaps her insight makes her a little wiser to the situation at hand, then one might think.
