The Negaverse

What is the Negaverse?

The Negaverse is an alternate dimension where basically everyone is evil. One thousand years ago, our moon was inhabited by a kingdom where everybody was happy. The minions of the Negaverse decide to try to take over our universe, and to do this they must first conquer the moon. Why? Because they're evil beings from another dimension, and that's what they do. Thus the Negaverse attacks. The attack was spearheaded by the Seven Shadows- the Negaverse's most powerful warriors. During the battle Princess Serena & Prince Darien are killed. In order to save them Queen Serenity, the head of the Moon Kingdom, uses the Imperium Silver Crystal. The crystal does not destroy anyone, it merely traps them all. There is hardly anything left of the Moon Kingdom because the Negaverse really knows how to party, so Queen Serenity uses the last of her strength to send everyone (including the Negaverse warriors) to the future on Earth. Now in the present the Negaverse is at it again. Will the Negaverse prevail? You'll just have to see for yourself.

Queen Berril

Queen Berril has long red hair and red eyes. Her eye teeth are rather long too.

This is Queen Berril. She is the ruler of the section of the Negaverse known as the dark kingdom. One thousand years ago Queen Berril decided to ransack the Moon Kingdom. After the fall of the Moon Kingdom nothing would stand in her way from taking over the universe. Unfortunatly Queen Serenity had the Imperium Silver Crystal and defeated Queen Berril by sending everyone in the Negaverse and the moon to the future. In the present Queen Berril tries to accumulate energy to release the Negaforce and destroy Earth. To do this she sends her four generals. Unfortunatly, Sailor Moon is on the job and foils her plans. Queen Berril makes many mistakes that leads to her downfall. She destroys two of her generals. She takes Prince Darien on to her side (if she would have just gotten rid of him she might have won). And she underestimates Sailor Moon. Eventually Queen Berril merg es with the Negaforce in an attempt to defeat Sailor Moon who had become the Moon Princess. This not only gave her more power, but gave her big hair too. Yet even with big hair, Queen Berril loses.

The Four Generals

Jedite

Jedite has short blond hair and blue eyes. He is also tall and somewhat thin.

This is Jedite. He looks kind of sneaky doesn't he? Jedite was the first Negaverse general sent to gather energy from the earth. His uniform is colored with a red trim. You almost have to like Jedite, with all those crazy schemes. I especially liked how he always dressed up and went under the name "Jed", yet now one could figure out it was him! As far as the generals go he was probably the best, from a military perspective that is. He was always focused on his goal and always followed orders. Yet, Queen Berril became upset with him for repeated failures. Even though he learned the identities of the three scouts, Queen Berril froze him in ice forever. Actually Jedite is the only general that wasn't killed, he was just put in the deep freeze. It is rumored that he and Sailor Mars were once lovers during the Silver Millennium.

I don't think Jedite gets enough credit. In the episode Slim City, he says that the reward for hard work is being allowed to use the "relaxation pods. Relaxation pods??!! Hey, you couldn't pay me enough money to get into something that looks like a green glowing nuclear cucumber, yet he got people to do it. Jedite deserves credit for pulling that one off.

Nephlite

Nephlite has long dark brown hair and blue eyes. He is fairly large.

Nephlite was the second general of the Negaverse to gather energy. His uniform is colored with a yellow trim. Unlike Jedite, Nephlite's idea was to gather a persons energy when they reached peak potential in their lives. This would supposedly yield more energy. Each person that relinquished their energy would then produce a Negaverse warrior to terrorize Earth. Unlike the rest of the generals, Nephlite was also very strategic in his planning. He believed that the stars governed peoples lives and by consulting them he could gain important knowledge. Nephlite is also most likely the strongest physically. Like when he went to save Molly, he didn't use his powers, he just beat the crap out of her captures. The most unusual attribute of Nephlite is how he presents himself. Unlike the other generals he doesn't float around and he usually drives a car instead of teleporting every where. Nephlite's downfall was that he eventually fell in love with Molly. He was killed when Zoicite tried to take the star crystal f rom him. He is the only general to become good before he croaked. He and Sailor Jupiter were lovers back during the Silver Millennium. If there is one thing you can say about Nephlite: in all the Negaverse he's got the coolest car!.

Zoicite

Zoicite has long light brown hair. Her eyes are green.

Zoicite is the third of the Negaverse generals. There is a controversy over wether Zoicite is a he or a she. In Japan Zoicite was a man, but Zoicite was dubbed as a woman in the U.S. Since I saw Sailor Moon in the U.S. I'll refer to him as a she. Her uniform is colored with a green trim. Zoicite shows up during Nephlite's reign, mainly to pester him about his failures. She is the most underhanded of the generals. She is rather confident when she has the obvious advantage, yet she usually leaves the scene rather quickly when the odds are even. She is also Malachite's lover, and the two of them usually did a little planning of their own on the side. Zoicite's mission was to obtain the seven Rainbow Crystals, each of wich contains a shadow warrior (once the strongest warriors in the Negaverse). With the Rainbow Crystals, Queen Berril would be able to obtain the Imperium Silver Crystal. Zoicite's main rival is Tuxedo Mask, whom she severely despises. Zoicite is killed by Queen Berril who became angry with her for disobeying her orders and trying to kill Tuxedo Mask. Zoicite and Sailor Mercury were lovers during the Silver Millenium Days (they would make such a cute couple too).

The coolest thing Zoicite did was dress up as Sailor Moon. I think it was a riot. I loved the part where a would-be bank robber goes "who are you?". She then kicks him in the head and declares "I'm Sailor Moon: Champion of Justice".

Malachite

Malachite: "the man who never needs a flashlight".

Malachite is the fourth general. His uniform is colored with a light blue trim with a light blue cape. He and Zoicite were lovers until she was killed (the saddest thing I've seen in the Negaverse is when he says goodby to Zoicite). He also despises Tuxedo Mask whom Queen Berril brainwashed to work for the Negaverse as Prince Darien. They have an intense rivalry with each other. Malachite is the strongest of the Negaverse warriors. He is also very aggressive. Apparently he thinks he's special because he doesn't button the top button on his generals uniform (that drives me nuts!). He was probably the most capable of doing away with the Scouts, but circumstance dictated otherwise. He was eventually killed when he tried to use a Nega-boomerang against Sailor Moon, she deflected it and it got him instead.

Prince Darien: Champion of the Negaverse

Darien was captured by Queen Berril, who then brainwashed him and gave him a cool uniform. Queen Berril for some reason took a liking to Darien back in the Silver Millennium days, and she plans to make him her man to rule at her side, now that she has the chance to control him. Darien, like Malachite is concerned with obtaining the Imperium Silver Crystal. When he is in the Negaverse he wears the guise of Prince Darien, but when on Earth he is Tuxedo Mask because the Scouts used to like Tuxedo Mask and therefore he views that as their weakness. It is actually hard to tell if he is really totally evil or not. He foils Malachites plans quite a bit, and even saves Sailor Moon a couple times. I don't know why, but I think Darien was totally cool when he worked for the Negaverse. Eventually, Sailor Moon managed to make him good again, shortly before she defeated Queen Berril.

The Aliens

After the battle with Queen Berril, the Sailor Scouts (and Darien) lose their memories of being Scouts. Only Luna & Artemis retain their memories, just in case something ever happens and they need to call upon the Scouts. And the Negaverse isn't finished yet! A new threat arrives from the heavens: the aliens. The aliens come from another solar system. Their names are Ann & Allan who are lovers. They knew Queen Berril, so I guess they also have ties to the Negaverse too. They require energy for the Doom Tree: a highly evolved organism, which sucks the energy out of other life forms and transfers it to the aliens. They crash landed in an asteroid and took over an empty apartment. They then joined the local school (which by coincidence happened to be Serena's School too), posing as brother and sister. Of course since they were both birthed from the Doom Tree, that means that they actually are brother and sister! (They're aliens so I guess incest is alright). Anyway Ann and Allan don't do the dirty work, instead they send out lower minions called cardians. Cardians start out as cards and turn into the monsters depicted on the cards when Allan plays his flute. Soon Luna is forced to give Serena back her memories in order to defeat the monsters. Soon all the Scouts are given their memories back to fight this new threat.

Yet Darien still doesn't have his memory back. For some reason he can't become Tuxedo Mask, although I don't know why because he didn't know he was Tuxedo Mask for quite a while and that never stopped him before. Instead, a new figure appears to save the Scouts: the Moonlight Knight, who throws white roses instead of red and uses a long knife instead of a baton. Ann and Allan have their hands full, and become worried because the Doom Tree continues to die, even though they feed it energy.

Allen

This is Allan. He is the male alien with the funny looking blue outfit. Like Ann, his hair gets shorter when he assumes human form. Allen's destiny is to play the flute. The flute also allows him to animate cardians. Allan (like most guys) has a wandering eye, something that Ann isn't fond of. I like Allan just because of the episode where he terrorizes the Scouts who were running around screaming because they had lost their memories. Ann chews him out for scaring them, and Allan says: "Ah, come on Ann, this is the fun part". The main annoyance in Allan's life (not counting the Scouts) is Darien. Allan becomes rather popular in school because of his flute playing, something that really upsets Ann.

Ann

This is Ann. She's the female alien that wears the funny looking red outfit. Her hair gets shorter when she assumes human form. She is usually the one whom picks the cardians out. She is basically a loner and not a very sociable person. In fact she isn't a very nice person at all. One person that really annoys her is Serena. Ann becomes extremely jealous when Allan talks to other girls, and is suspicious of other people. She also is capable of draining people's energy on her own.

So...what's the romantic situation? Well, Ann and Allen are lovers. Then Ann falls for Darien, and Allen falls for Serena. Serena is still in love with Darien who lost his memories after the battle with Queen Berril, and doesn't remember Serena. Serena also starts becoming attracted to Allen. Darien, by the way, has no idea what's going on. What a mess! The only way this could have been more confusing is if Darien had fallen in love with Allen. Now that would have been funny.

The Scouts seem pretty confident when they find out that Ann & Allan are from the Negaverse, but Ann & Allen aren't just any lackeys from the Negaverse. Despite the Scouts victory over the cardians, it becomes apparent that the aliens are far more powerful, even though they are weaker than they used to be. The Scouts quickly loose their confidence once the final battle begins. Ann & Allen would have destroyed the Scouts if it weren't for the Doom Tree's intervention. As it turns out the Doom Tree is a sentient being (the tree gets rather ticked off and starts beating around one of the cardians that tries to feed it, which is proof that it is sentient, because all sentient beings get pissed when they aren't fed properly). The tree in fact was once called the Tree of Life, and requires positive (warm fuzzy) energy to grow. The Tree strikes Allan down in anger and prepares to kill him, but Ann jumps in the way and the tree kills her instead. Allan holds his former lover close and prepares to die with her as the tree attacks, but Sailor Moon intervenes and saves them. Sailor Moon then uses the Moon Scepter to rid the tree of negative energy. Ann was then given back her life. The aliens fly off with the Doom Tree, which became a growing seedling, and everyone was happy (except in the future).

From one thousand years in the future, like a fashion nighmare it's....

The Four Sisters

One thousand years in the future everyone is happy, everyone that isn't from the Negaverse that is. It is like the Silver Millennium days on the Moon, except that it's in the future on Earth. A place called Crystal Tokio is the center of it all. This city is ruled by Neo-Queen Serenity. Enter the next threat: minions of the Nega-moon. They are bent on destroying this paradise (because that's what they do best). The Nega-moon's warriors realize that they have a rough fight ahead of them. Then there appears to be an opening. The Queens daughter Renie takes the imperium crystal and loses it. This turns the tide and soon the war begins to go in favor of the Negaverse. Renie is then sent back into the past to retrieve the crystal. Of course the Negaverse isn't just going to sit around as this happens, so they send some of there own people to catch Renie and perhaps take over key strategic points in the past, known as crystal points. The Nega-moon sends the Four Sisters, led by a man named Rubius. The Scouts ge t new powersticks that make them ten times as powerful, yet they are evenly matched with the powers of the sisters.

The Nega-moonies have a few distinctive traits. First, they're evil (obviously ). Second, they all have a black inverted crescent moon on their foreheads. They all dress unusually too. And they all have matching earrings. Here are the main Nega-moon characters.

Catsy

Catsy has long purplish hair. Her eyes are purple too.

This is Catsy. She is the oldest of the four sisters ( although in Japan she was the youngest). She is obsessed with shopping (like all the sisters). Rubius considers her to be one of his best warriors. Catsy is in love with Rubius and hopes to rule crystal Tokio at his side. Rubius uses this to manipulate Catsy into doing what he wants. Her hair is very distinct in that it looks like she has two cat ears, still no one recognizes her when she's in human form. As for her fashion sense... it's questionable. I have no idea why anyone would choose to wear a tutu on a regular basis (maybe that's why she's so cranky). Her power is ice fire, which is just as powerful as Mars' fireball. Eventually Catsy is defeated, and Rubius deserts her.. Jupiter was about to open up a can of whoop-ass on Catsy, but Sailor Mars jumps in the way and saved her from the hurt-locker. Sailor Moon uses the Imperium Silver Crystal to rid her of negative energy. Catsy then makes a drastic career change from a Negaverse evil-doer, to a cosmetic sales lady. Apparently being human helps her judgement too because she doesn't wear the tutu anymore.

Birdy

Birdy has long white hair that is braided. She has dark blue eyes.

This is Birdy. She is probably the most self absorbed of the sisters (but not by much). Again, like Catsy, she is a shop-aholic. Birdy's power is like an ice storm, and is as powerful as Sailor Mercury's ice bubbles. She is probably the smartest of the sisters, since she did very well at a chess tournament, and nearly defeated Sailor Mercury. Birdy misses Catsy, when Catsy becomes human, but she hides it in front of her sisters and Rubius. Once Birdy is defeated, she tries to take her own life. But Catsy convinces her to become human.

Avery

Avery has brown hair that she wears in a bun, and deep brown eyes.

This is Avery. Avery doesn't seem all to thrilled about being dragged into the past. In fact most of the time it seems that she couldn't care less at all about how things go. I like Avery the best out of the sisters because of the way she dresses (she looks like she stepped out of a Conan movie). As for her powers, I'm not sure she has any. But she is very good with her whip, which I guess is the manifestation of her powers, and is as strong as Sailor Venus's Love Chain. For some reason Avery and Prisma seem to be a pair. Why there usually together I don't know, especially since they don't really get along.

Prisma

Prisma has short dark green hair. Her eyes are dark green also.

This is Prisma. She is the most stubborn of the sisters, and is probably the most power-hungry. Prisma's power is some sort of Nega-lightning, which is as powerful as Sailor Jupiter's thunder ball. Prisma is the only sister that you see eating, and I must say, she was really chowing down on that cake. Avery makes fun of Prisma because she hasn't had a date in months. Rubius plans to make Catsy and Birdy evil again by giving Prisma a Nega-Moon Strobe. Prisma decides that the strobe is so much fun to use that she zaps Avery with it. The Scouts work together and finally defeat Prisma. When the strobe explodes into a vortex, Prisma attempts to save everyone by throwing herself into it, but her sisters stop her. Prisma is then turned into a human along with Avery by Sailor Moon, after the Scouts destroy the Strobe.

Rubius

Rubius has short red/orange hair that goes all over the place.

This is Rubius. He is given charge of the mission in the past. He manipulates the sisters into doing what he wants. He then plans to dispose of them when they are no longer of any use to him. The person he exerted the most control over was Catsy, who was in love with him. Upon Catsy's defeat she asks him to help her defeat the Scouts but he chooses to desert her instead and gave her a Nega-bomb to blow herself and the Scouts up (which of course she didn't use or Sailor Moon would be a really short series). Rubius becomes upset because he lost the fight and Catsy becoming human really ticked him off. Rubius's power is some sort of Nega-energy which apparently Tuxedo Mask is able to match. Rubius more or less fits the definition of a big jerk.

Wiseman

The wiseman wears a cloak so you can't see his features. He looks somewhat like the grim reaper.

This is the Wiseman. He is Rubius's contact in the future. The Wiseman, for the most part runs the whole operation (after all, he's supposed to be wise). The Wiseman doesn't really do all that much exept float around, and tell Rubius to get his butt in gear. The Wiseman also uses a crystal ball, somewhat similar to Queen Berril's orb.
