Well I'm sure there are a few of you who have followed my page are wondering why I've decided to finally update my page after all this time. After receiving mass amounts of idiotic mail, idiotic guestbook signings, and being stuck on an [unofficial] mailing list (without my permission), more or less, everything added up to pretty much kill any joy I had for Sailor Moon. That along with how much my page has been ripped off, because it seems Sailor Moon fans find no problem with taking things that isn't theirs.
Yet... For some reason I couldn't watch this page die. Call it Steve Jobs' syndrome perhaps, but I am attached to this page. This is after all, the first page I ever made, back when I was planning on having a main page, and one page for the scouts and Negaverse respectively. You could say that I've grown a bit beyond that. But for the most part, I've decided to finally resolve my problems with SM, and update the page... although my liking for the show will never be what it once was.
Still... don't let that deter you. The majority of this page was written by someone that loved the Sailor Moon.... myself ..... a very long time ago...
What is Sailor Moon About? Here is my pathetic super short synopsis of Sailor Moon It all starts out with a 14 year old girl named Serena. She is a whiny crybaby, who doesn't do too well in school, and a klutz. Then one day a talking cat named Luna tells here that she is destined to fight evil beings from an alternate dimension called the Negaverse. Thus Serena transforms into Sailor Moon. No problem so far right? Unfortunately Serena is still a whiny, klutzy, crybaby who is not good at being Sailor Moon either. Every episode a guy named Tuxedo Mask comes to rescue her in the nick of time. Yet Serena is not alone; other girls are also Sailor Scouts. Each of them is named after a respective planet and has a different power. The show starts out as a simple comedy but gets more and more complex further into the series. Chances are you've heard about the show (other wise you wouldn't be here), there are only a couple thousand pages that talk about the show, which has gained an immense following. Alas I am forced to endure the American dub of the show. I've heard that the American version is practically a parody of the original Japanese version. I wouldn't know. I've only seen the U.S. version, so that's all I got to go on. Thus this page will be according to the North American Version of the show. Keep in mind that I do not know everything about Sailor Moon, nor do I claim to. If you want to go to a page by a person that does know everything about Sailor Moon you'd better go somewhere else. O.K. enough yakking, hope you enjoy my page. |
