Female Maze / Mei

Voice: Mitsuishi Kotono
Weapon: Folm

Good Points
kind, caring, honest
Bad Points
has low self confidence and is often afraid to fight

Female Maze was once a typical school girl before she was transported to another dimension. She is kind, considerate, and enjoys doing domestic chores. She in fact handles her situation quite well, although the prospect of fighting usually causes her quite a bit of distress. Female Maze's weakness lies in her lack of self confidence, and her intense dislike of fighting, even when there is no other choice. Eventually she learns to assert herself, and to stand up for what she believes in. Female Maze is also quite good at handling unwarrented affection. Much like male Maze, she is quite opinionated, although usually more polite about it. She dislikes her male half, although later they learn of a bond between them, which changes her feelings somewhat...

Male Maze / Akira

Voice: Seki Tomokazu
Weapon: Folm

Good Points
confident, powerful, good at blowing things up
Bad Points
rude, shallow, self centered, likes blowing things up too much

Male Maze is practically the exact opposite of female Maze. He really enjoys fighting, and is even fairly good at hand to hand combat (probably stemming from his past experience). His power in using folm exceeds that of female Maze, and he also seems to be more adept in focusing his power. Male Maze is the self proclaimed most important person, and is unmatched in his ego. He also likes blatantly harassing (for lack of a better term) women. His reason for helping Mill is actually sort of shallow, although he is probably genuinely concerned too. For all his appearance, there is a bit more to male Maze under the surface than one might expect.

Mill Baruna

Voice: Tange Sakura
Weapon: Whining & Crying

Good Points
cute at times
Bad Points
annoying 95% of the time

Mill was a princess of Bartolon before the Jaina cult took over. Mill was saved from certain death by Maze's house falling on Mill's attacker (the weather today will be partly cloudy with a 40% chance of falling buildings). From that point on Mill became very attached to Maze (and has a severe crush on male Maze). Upon learing about Mazes unusul change of states, she decides to call Maze "oneenii-sama" (big sister/brother). She is rather protective of Maze, and likes both the Maze's female and male forms. Mill is also very accident prone, and spends much of her time whining and crying. She also tends to be a bit dense at times. While Maze is capable of controling Dilguard, only Mill can actually call forth Dilguard.

Randy

Voice: Nishimura Chinami
Weapon: Folm

Good Points
fairly knowledgeable
Bad Points
not overly helpful in a fight

Randy is a fairy who was sent (by some calling) to help guide Maze. She is a typical fairy (upbeat, playful, etc.), and enjoys gidoria, which is the favorite food of fairies (noted for it's horrible smell and flavor). Randy is well versed in many things since as a fairy she has a bond with folm. Her wings are more for decoration than anything else (since they don't actually move when she flies), although she is capable of pulling Mill around in water, so I guess she's still got quite a bit of horsepower. When she gets frightened she has a tendency to hide in Maze's cleavage. *grammar note* She usually adds "non" after every sentance. Such as "Soo desu non".... and of corse "KYAAAAAAH! desu non!!"

Solude Suforuza

Voice: Orikasa Ai
Weapon: Throwing Needles

Good Points
she's a very loyal friend
Bad Points
not serious enough at times

Solude (once known as Solude the Hurricane), is a very adept fighter, which comes in handy since her trade is being a demi-hunter (individuals who actually hunt demi-armor). Solude is very fast, and excellent marksman with throwing needles. She is also capable of using folm to telleport herself, and others. Solude has a preference for women (because she doesn't trust men), and almost immediately takes a liking to female Maze, but tends to not like male Maze so much. Her relationship with Aster seems to be strictly on the level of friendship / partnership. She is a caring person, although a little rough around the edges. And of course being voiced by my favorite Japanese voice actor is another plus for Solude.

Aster Torege

Voice: Ishizuka Unshou
Weapon: Big ass Sword

Good Points
very strong
Bad Points
doesn't have any eyes! (just kidding)

Aster is sort of the sidekick to Solude. The two are partners as demi-hunters. His weapon of choice is a large sword which he wields with phenomenal strength. Although Solude and Aster both can hold their own, their typical attack pattern involves Solude crippling an opponent with needles, and Aster finishing the job with a devastating follow up blow. Aster also quickly takes a liking to female Maze. He has a good sense of humor, and enjoys eating and drinking (where as Solude is more into the drinking part). Aster isn't quite your a-typical muscle bound guy, since he's actually fairly smart. Overall he is good natured and has a good sense of humor.

Saris Rapier

Voice: Kobayashi Yuko
Weapon: Sword

Good Points
dedicated, loyal
Bad Points
has a problem accepting herself

Saris is the last of the Rapier family, and her father couldn't accept the fact that she was a girl so he made her act as a boy throughout her childhood. All of this stuck with Saris, to the point where she is afraid to admit that she is a woman. That changed when King Nanclif discovered the truth about her (that she was a woman). Saris fell in love with him and dedicated herself entirely to his service (even after his death). She may not be the most formidable in hand to hand combat, but with a sword, she is nearly unmatched. Saris is mostly indifferent to female Maze, but is often uncomfortable around male Maze (since he's always trying to put the moves on her). Out of all the gender confusion in the show, Saris certainly adds to the mess since she's a repressed woman.... in a woman's body! Ironically Saris refuses to acknowledge that she's a woman, believing that women are weak, although she herself is proof to the contrary. Still, there is a sort of magnetism which draws Saris to "feminine things".

Dolnard Wol

Voice: ?
Weapon: bombs

Good Points
very wise
Bad Points
he's sort of a .... pervert

Dolnard Wol was once the prime minister of Bistal, however he tried to go against the queen Cassandra whom he believed would (and eventually did) lead Bistal to ruin, and was thus thrown into Bistal's underground labyrinth. Eventually with the help of Maze, he got out, and was entrusted to guide the younger people with his wisdom by king Naucliff. Wol is of course very wise. Wise enough to realize that swinging swords around is fine for young people, but why bother when you can just toss a few explosives at your enemy and be done with it. Wol is also notorious for being a sort of pervert, and often makes little comments to fit the part. He is however, an essential companion of Maze, as he is well versed on just about every topic.
